The epicenter of this delightful area is the charming St Andrews Park. Opened in 1895 many consider it to be the best neighbourhood park in Bristol. Situated on a grassy slope, this park has everything for everyone. In the summer it is a haven for both locals and visitors to the area enjoying a picnic or game of Frisbee, while in the winter crowds huddle round for the candle lit carol concerts. Locals are very proud and protective of this open space making it a real jewel in Bristol’s crown.
In addition to this, St Andrews provides superb access to the array of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes of Gloucester Road. It is also an excellent area to raise a family with many three, four and five bedroom homes served by the highly regarded Sefton Park Infant and Junior School. The area is also very popular with young professionals with the city centre only a brief bus journey, cycle or even walk away.
