A light, bright and well presented one bedroom flat set within a Victorian property. Benefiting from private front and rear gardens, within close proximity to the much loved local, shops, cafe's and bars on Gloucester Road.
The main door leads to a communal entrance. The front door opens into a hallway where the bedroom sits at the front of the property and has an ornate double glazed bay window. There's plenty of space for furniture and the original wooden floor sits beautifully against the high ceilings.
The living room is neutrally decorated with white walls and cream carpet. This stylish room is finished with a central chimney breast and Victorian fireplace. Another double-glazed window looks out onto the back garden. The lounge flows nicely into the rear of the property where a hallway leads to the bathroom. The bathroom has a cream finish, white tiling and white bathroom suite. The shower is over the bath and has chrome fittings.
The kitchen-diner is at the far rear of the property, with double doors onto the garden, the space is flooded with light and has a real social feel to it. Grey metro tiles, wooden worktops and white cupboards sit well together. An electric oven and gas hob set within an alcove complete the look.
The back garden begins with paved tiles and leads onto a large lawn, there is also the addition of rear access. The garden is bordered with an impressive plum tree and has a quaint summer house at the back, this would make an ideal home-office.
Church Road is a generous one bedroom flat. It's well proportioned, stylish and tastefully finished. The light and flow of the property gives it a real modern feel, which, combined with the period features, make it perfect for the modern buyer.
Vendor's Comments :- We bought 61 Church Road as our first home together and have thoroughly enjoyed living here. Living and working in this lovely community has been great and there is a good mix of people who live in the area. Horfield common is just over the road where we have spent a lot of time playing tennis on the free-to-use courts. Gloucester Road is only a few mins walk away, and we have loved exploring and visiting its independent shops, cafes and restaurants. And with a large supermarket also within walking distance, everything you need is on the doorstep. The flat has been perfect for our first home, with the kitchen, living room and garden getting the morning sun providing a lovely start to the day. The summerhouse has been great, we’ve used it for a gym and storage but it could easily be used as a summer or cinema room. We will be sad to leave the flat and we hope the next owner will get as much enjoyment out of it as we did.
